Some ground floor rooms overlook a car parking area, which can affect privacy, and the presence of only net curtains means you might find yourself fumbling for the light switch when changing. I encountered some issues with communication while trying to sort out the shower, as certain housekeeping staff struggled with English, which made for a tricky morning. The dining area felt cramped at times, especially during breakfast when service seemed a bit delayed, and despite the overall cleanliness, there were occasional reports of unkempt bathroom fixtures that could use attention. Lastly, there's a noticeable absence of microwaves in rooms, making late-night snacking more problematic than it should be.

It was just a commendable fit for a couple of nights in Carrick-on-Shannon, great for the money. Breakfast was nice, standard B&B fare that was more than enough to set you up for the morning. If you prefer a quiet stay, consider opting for the house in town.

Had a great time with my friends! The beds were super comfy, and we enjoyed the tasty breakfast every morning. The location made it easy to explore nearby spots like the Golf Club and Arigna Mining Experience. Charlotte was friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the free parking. Definitely recommend this place for a fun getaway!
Only downside was that I had to bring my own shower cap since the shower head could not be moved, making it a bit tricky.
